Project Overview

COHY is a Gujarat-based travel-tech startup built on a different idea — most apps help you book a trip, COHY helps you find the people to travel with. Users discover compatible travellers, create or join groups, plan together in chat, and book group tours. Fruxinfo built the platform: the web product at cohy.in with OTP login, group workflows and the complete messaging infrastructure behind it.

The Challenge

A brand-new category - companion-finding, not booking - so the platform had to explain itself within seconds.
This was a full product, not a brochure site: signups, OTP login, groups, chat, dashboards and trip flows.
A first-time visitor and an active group member needed completely different dashboard experiences.
Transactional SMS in India means DLT compliance - entity, sender ID and template approvals before a single OTP goes out.
WhatsApp had to work as a proper communication channel, not just a chat button in the corner.

Our Approach

Designed the platform in COHY's navy-and-teal identity with separate journeys for new visitors and active members.
Built the web platform in PHP with OTP-based login and dual dashboard states - guided onboarding for new users, live groups and activity for members.
Created the group workflows - create, join, plan - with an in-platform chat for every trip group.
Completed DLT registration end to end: entity, brand, sender ID and approved OTP templates, wired into the SMS gateway.
Integrated WhatsApp Business API through AiSensy for automated updates and conversations.
Ran a full SEO and security audit before scale - meta structure, schema, OTP handling and more.
